Hi, I’m Nate. A tech-obsessed musician and producer on a quest to strike the perfect balance between art and science.

My story began in the music store where seven-year-old me would wait patiently for my sister to complete her guitar lessons. I eventually picked up the instrument myself, and started playing and writing songs.

After completing my degree in mathematical physics at the University of Waterloo, I dove head-first into the Kitchener-Waterloo music scene, producing dozens of songs and hundreds of shows before starting my band, the Avro Arrows.

Along the way, I’ve never stopped tinkering with my own audio software and devices. Now, I’m setting off in a new direction by going all-in on the design and creation of new technology.

It’s too early to say exactly where this journey will take me, but I’m in it for the long-haul. So check back here, where I’ll be sharing my progress, reflections, and projects along the way.
